Her starring roles include Alison Parker on Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl Mabel and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith grew up in Menlo Park, a San Francisco suburb. Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both did market research for computer systems. Courtney at seven years old, divorced her dad Walter Smith. Courtney was a part of her father Walter Smith during several moments. Jennifer Jenna, Jennifer's younger sister, has a job in advertising. She graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California in 1985. When she was in high school she was also a part of the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley.
